About

First, let me introduce myself once again. My name is Anastasija Semicheva, I’m 24 years old.
I was born in Russia, so Russian is my mother tongue. When I was seven, my family moved to Ukraine, that is my current place of residence. I live here for such a long time that Ukrainian has become my second natural language. I’ve learnt it at school, passed exams in Ukrainian, so there is no difference for me, which language to speak – Russian or Ukrainian (in true, this languages are very close).

I started learning English at the age of 9. School, language courses, university preliminary courses, university - for many years I practice my English at least 4 times a week.
The fact, that I has finished school with distinction and has graduated from university with first class grade proves that I’m a hard-working, obliging and serious person.

My love of computers comes since very childhood. As far as I remember myself, I’ve been trying to understand how it works. I’m well informed of modern technologies and always open to anything new.
Internet is my second home. For me it’s a sparkling opportunity to communicate with people from different parts of world, get new information, new knowledge. As I never stop and continue a process of self-education every day, it was obvious for me, that I should start learning, how Internet works.
I guess everyone starts with HTML; I’m not an exception to the rule :). HTML allows creating simple websites, that’s not enough for me. CSS and PHP have only strengthened my love for web programming.
Currently I continue “digging” in PHP and start learning MySQL and Apache server.
The knowledge of programming along with interpreter skills allows me to offer quite a rare service – script and website translation. Interpreters usually know nothing about programming; professional programmers usually have poor language skills. I combine both good interpreting skills and programming skills.

Another side of my lively interest in technics comes out in photography. I’m a photographer with 10 years of practise. The appearance of digital reflex cameras has opened new horizons for me, such as digital image processing and correction.
