Gibson John Lennon Les Paul
Rare!!!
This is not just a high-quality guitar, but a collection item, a real must-have for true Beatles and John Lennon fans. I'd never sell it as I love this guitar more than myself, but I have to pay for my education. So here it is.
Gibson John Lennon Les Paul
For sure, you remember Lennon's famous concert at New York's Madison Square Garden, I guess, no one can forget it. If so, certainly, you know John's 1950's Tobacco Sunburst Les Paul. That guitar was modified by repairman Ron DeMarinoin in the early 70's. He put a "Charlie Christian" pick up in the neck, added Gibson's Tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece everyone is so crazy about. Later he sanded off the sunburst finish. To my opinion, it was one of the best efforts of creating an ideal guitar.
This guitar is a reproduction of that unique instrument. But it sounds just as well as original. It was made of materials of ultimate quality, with body and neck created of solid mahogany, rosewood fingerboard, aged chrome hardware and pearloid dot inlay. This guitar has 22 frets (forget about Fenders with 21 frets!). The bridge on Gibson John Lennon Les Paul will meet the demands even of the most exigent musicians, because it’s Tune-o-matic with wraparound holes & ABR-1! Tailpiece is made of lightweight aluminum and has two thumb wheels on treble side of bridge. Oh, I should mention just fantastic 3-way Switchcraft switch added to normal Les Paul positioning.
The guitar's scale is 24-3/4", nut width - 1-11/16", weight is 8,9 lbs.
This beauty comes with Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, custom care kit & signed Lennon print by famed artist Allison Lefcort.
